Upcoming City Council Rezoning Vote for Riverside Parkway Acreage.
The Douglasville City Council will be voting on a rezoning application at their Monday, June 15, 6:00pm meeting. If approved, a 95-acre parcel on Riverside Pkwy at Roberts Rd currently zoned for residential would be rezoned to light industrial for the purposes of constructing two distribution centers totaling more than 1 million square feet.

Several people got up to speak in opposition. Their comments start at the 1 hour mark.The council votes at their meeting tomorrow evening.
