NOW! A Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) application has been submitted for N. River Rd. behind Gordon Food Service.

The 132.8-acre area outlined in green has a true Light Industrial zoning. They can build warehouses there without going before the Planning Commission or City Council for permission.
The 221-acre area outlined in red has a unique, complicated hybrid Light Industrial-ish kind of zoning. To put warehouses there, they would need a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) from the city. They have applied for such a SLUP.
